NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 5: Indigenous peoples and Activists begin the overnight camp out in front of Wells Fargo branch on April 5, 2017 in Soho, New York City. Activists are looking to drive mayor Bill De Blasio attention to divest founds from banks like Wells Fargo & Company which has caused controversy for their investment in the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL)—a project that will be constructed through land owned by the Standing Rock Indian Reservation and covers land stretching from North Dakota to central Illinois.
